Obama Art

Barack Obama continues to inspire our nation in so many ways. In my lifetime, I've never known a politican and leader to touch people in so many different facuts of their lives. Although his selction of Biden as his VP running mate came as a slightly unwelcome suprise to me, I am still fully behind the Obama ticket. MoveOn.org has been inidating my inbox with emails lately and tonights was much more interesting than the normal free sticker offer, the org held an Obama art contest. R.I.P. Muxtape

I was really sad to hear this morning that one of my new favorite sites, Muxtape has shut itself down due to an issue with the Recording Industry Association of America — the trade group that lobbies on behalf of the recording industry. and the force behind thousands of lawsuits against individuals for illegally uploading music. A post by the company stated that "The site is not closed indefinitely. Stay tuned."

I hope they do reopen the site again, I just finally joined last week and was working on my first motown-inspired playlist.
